As we celebrate the National Day of Prayer I wanted to share with you a nugget concerning prayer, from the original languages of our Bible. Mt 21:22 And <2532> all things <3956>, whatsoever <302> <3745> ye shall ask <154> (5661) in <1722> prayer <4335>, believing <4100> (5723), ye shall receive <2983> (5695). 2 Thessalonians 2:7 For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. The word mystery speaks about something secretive or unknown. Everything which God does through Jesus Christ, He executes it through the vehicle of mysteries. God’s hides His secrets, plans and counsels in mysteries so that they cannot not be abused or tampered with by people who do not love Him. About three years ago I had a vision while I was on my knees praying in New Mexico. In this vision I saw the strong muscular arm of the Lord with what appeared to be a lobster trap which had been pulled up out of the ocean. I realized that it was not lobsters but demons that were inside the trap. Three year ago the trap had been pulled out of the waters over the USA but it was still closed. Three years later, I wonder if the trap has been opened.
Success in the kingdom of God is proportionate to how much it becomes our reality, our actuality, existence, or state of being. Existence has to do with what our physical senses make us aware of in terms of our surroundings. What we are aware of around us becomes our environment that dictates with it a culture. When Jesus said in Matthew 6 “let your kingdom come, let your will be done, as in heaven so upon the earth,” He is talking about existence.
